What is Telemedicine?
Telemedicine allows you to meet with your doctor virtually via video or mobile phone consults when you can’t make it into a clinic. This offers you convenient access to your doctor regardless of your location. Telemedicine allows you to talk about your symptoms or conditions and get a diagnosis quickly so a prescription or referral can be provided by your doctor.
Patients that can’t make it to the doctor or simply prefer to have a private home based consultation will benefit with our services. Our doctors can diagnose and treat minor illnesses and coordinate care for chronic conditions all by phone or video chat and you can pick up any prescribed medications at your local pharmacy and follow up with your personal physician for any ongoing issues and concerns.
Unlike other telemedicine services who address only urgent needs and one-time visits, our telemedicine doctors are trained to provide a broad range of primary care services that deliver nearly everything you would receive during a traditional visit to your doctor’s office (minus the 45-minute wait in the waiting room).
